Chic Style: Casual vs Boho Chic

This is the battle-of-the-chicness post. Casual chic is quiet a common term and common style but what exactly is it and how does it differs from boho (or bohemian) chic? 


Casual chic style is basically a mixture of feminine element (like a modern victorian blouse, skirt or dress) with something informal (like leather jacket or jeans).It is gaining popularity even as an office wear because it is comfortable, feminine and smart-looking.


Example of a famous personality known for her casual chic style is the sister of Duchess Kate Middleton none other than Her Royal Chicness (just invented it) Pippa Middleton. She always looks stunning in her smart choices of feminine pieces with jacket and/or jeans.

Boho chic style on the other hand is basically a mixture of hippie, gypsy, ethnic and vintage elements.It is described as a unique and eclectic fashion style.Example of items which channel the boho chic look are the "floaty" skirts (usually long ethic printed ones),embroidered tunics, cropped jackets, large belts,hats, cowboy boots, baggy cardigans and hobo bags.
