Day 4-7
Things To Visit In Manila
Marvin and I spent the evening listening to live bands in Cowboy Grill Mabini, one of the bar and restaurants along Mabini Streets in Malate, Manila. We were expecting a jolly local bands to perform songs and antics just like some few years before when we visit the place. Albeit talented, the bands who performed were not as jolly and as comic as the bands before. Or maybe they're on a different schedule. I'm not sure yet.
On the next day, we were able to visit Binondo though we were not able to eat in some Chinese restaurants there. Maybe when we get back. We bought some yummy hopia and tikoy from Eng Bee Tin store in Ongpin St., Binondo instead. The ube and pandan-flavored hopia are my fave. It cost Php 42 only, a bit cheaper than in any supermarkets.
On Feb. 14, Valentine's day, we went to AMOSUP (Associated Marine Officers' and Seamen's Union of the Philippine) office which is located in Intramuros, Manila to run an errand. And so once again I had my picture taken at Manila Cathedral, a famous church in Intramuros.
On our last day in Manila, we roam around Mall of Asia and Baywalk before we went off to the airport for our flight to Palawan.
